If you thought Klaus’s (Joseph Morgan) situation couldn’t get any worse than where we left him in the last episode, then you’d be wrong. TV Guide teases that, come the Season 1 finale of The Originals, pretty much everyone will be after Klaus. Bring on the drama!
Apparently, “Both Cami and Davina will join Team Marcel in an effort to take Klaus down” in Season 1, Episode 22 (“From a Cradle to a Grave”). Poor, Klaus! He probably shouldn’t have killed so many of Davina and Marcel’s loved ones. We suppose Cami is pissed at him vicariously? She’s a hard one to predict — but morally indignant seems to be her default, so we suppose this makes sense. And Klaus is pretty terrible.
We’re guessing Klaus isn’t going to take this well. Not only because he is incredibly weakened by Genevieve’s spell and the life of his soon-to-be-born daughter is in mega-danger, but because Marcel and Cami are two of the only people he actually likes in the French Quarter. He doesn’t seem to mind Davina that much, either. Sure, he tried to kill Marcel last episode, but Klaus Logic isn’t exactly logical — especially when it comes to feeling as though he’s been betrayed by those he loves.
It sounds like Cami, Davina, and Cami’s attack against Klaus is going to cause some angst amongst the three of them, as well. According to TV Guide, co-executive producer Michael Narducci said: "Marcel truly cares for Cami. As far as Marcel and Davina, [he] absolutely has an 'older brother' relationship and looks out for her." This implies that Marcel’s feelings for both of this teammates might get in the way of a successful mission. Plus, you know, the fact that Klaus is basically this show’s main character. A protagonist/antagonist all wrapped up in one studly package. A protanagonist, if you will.
