American Idol 2014 Spoilers: Watch Marrialle Sellars Sing “Wrecking Ball” in Hollywood Week Final Performances
If there’s anything we’ve learned from watching years of American Idol, it’s that Hollywood Week is not to be taken lightly. Grueling rehearsals, clashing personalities, and the possibility of your dreams crashing down around you all lead to a pretty stressful environment for the eager contestants.
That said, some of the hopefuls seem more than ready to compete for the semi-finals, including 17-year-old Marrialle Sellars. We first met the fashion-loving cutie back in Detroit auditions, where she won over the judges with her confident rendition of “Grenade” by Bruno Mars. She’s clearly already become a favorite for the fans and judges alike, but will she have what it takes to make it all the way to the end?
When Hollywood Week returns on February 13, Marrialle takes the stage for her final solo performance of the round. She plays it smart by choosing a contemporary hit like “Wrecking Ball,” but switches it up just enough to prove who she is an artist. (PS: Have we mentioned how much we think she looks like Miley Cyrus?)
