There’s only so much airtime that the Bachelorette producers get to use, and sometimes that renders certain contestants, well, mute. They probably speak and do stuff, but if the camera’s not there to catch it, it doesn’t count to us viewers! Case in point: Patrick Jagodzinski, who Andi Dorfman sent packing in June 16’s Episode 5.
The New Jersey native really only left two major marks on us during his five-episode stay on Season 10, and that’s his ‘90s-era armband tattoo and his bro-love with fellow contestant Andrew Poole. Who could forget these two instantly connecting during the first cocktail party. Andi who?
Alas, that is all we will get to know about dear Pattiecakes. We were, however, taken aback by his sudden emotional outpouring as he exited the house. Seems like Patrick thought he and Andi had more of a connection than she realized. Oh dear, that’s awkward.
At least he had Andrew and fellow cast-off Marquel Martin to share in his misery. Don’t worry buddy, with your Disney prince looks, you’ll be just fine!
ORIGINAL STORY 3/31/14:
We’ve only known Bachelorette Andi Dorfman as that girl on The Bachelor who told Juan Pablo Galavis how it’s gonna be, so we don’t really know her type yet. But if off-beat, mysterious fellas are her bag, then she’ll definitely want to keep her eye on Pat Jagodzinski.
Patrick Jags, as he calls himself on his (currently empty) Instagram and Twitter handles, is still a pretty big question mark at this point in the season, but we’re dying to learn more about him. Spoiler king Reality Steve unearthed his super bizarre YouTube channel, and it houses just a few of the more random videos we’ve ever watched (seriously, find us a theme, thanks).
What else do we know about the 28-year-old (or 29, Steve isn’t sure) from Lebanon, New Jersey? Well, he currently makes his home in The O.C. (that’s Orange County, for everyone who didn’t own a TV when it mattered), and he’s really hot.
Meet Andi Dorfman's 2014 Bachelorette Contestants: Hottest Cast Ever?
Pat works as an Account Supervisor at Allergan-Pacific Communications, and we hope they gave him a leave of absence since he’s been there just shy of two years. His main area of expertise there is Botox, making him the ideal hookup for all camera-loving girls who don’t mind a little pain for gain.
Prior to his current gig, he worked in marketing and ad sales, so he’s likely a pretty good sweet talker. To get up to snuff, Pat attended Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he played soccer as a goalie (let’s hope Andi doesn’t hold the soccer thing against him). In 2006, he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications, with a focus on media and cinema studies. Is going on a reality show his thesis?
As for how far the Jagster (dibs on that nickname) makes it, it sounds like he at least got to Season 10 Episode 4, in Connecticut. A Facebook user wrote a long-winded story about sitting next to a man named Patrick on a plane, and writing a poem for him to give to a girl. RS unearthed the post, and it sounds like a romance novel, full of lighting up and long lashes, romance, and shyness. Will that be Andi’s thing? We’ll see...
What do you think of Pat? Is he the one for Andi, or just some guy sent to make us tune in and turn on?
