Bachelor 2015 Premiere: Britt Nilsson Gets the First Impression Rose!

On the Season 19 premiere of Bachelor 2015, Chris Soules made his debut with all the mushy, corn-y glory we could expect from the Iowan. It wasn’t our first time meeting Andi Dorfman’s third favorite boyfriend from The Bachelorette, but it was the first chance meeting the 30 gals lining up for the single multimillionaire. So, which gal took the early lead? Britt Nilsson, of course!

There was really no contest for the first rose of the season. From the moment Britt stepped out of the limo (first, we might add), Chris was like, “Is this heaven?” The cheery, smiley 27-year-old hopped directly into Chris’ arms for a long hug that would’ve made us uncomfortable if we were the other 29 girls — or Chris, for that matter. But apparently, he was super into it.

Later, he snagged the waitress for the first solo time of the night, and he made good on the “Free Hug” coupon she handed him during her entrance. Their chill session is super sexually-charged, even though Britt said in her intro package she’s as pure as the driven snow. Though the chemistry was obvious, they didn’t kiss — at least for a hot second.

But after all the entrances were made and the awful jokes had fallen to barely receptive smiles, Chris gave Britt the rose. Annddd then they kissed and the newly crowned frontrunner said, “This is gonna be trouble. I actually really like you.” Game on, other girls. Game freaking on.
