Now that Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Marcel’s (Charles Michael Davis) secret is public knowledge, these two on-again-off-again lovebirds are going on the lam in order to spare themselves from the rage of the ever-vengeful Klaus (Joseph Morgan). Are they driving off into the sunset in Season 1, Episode 15 (“Le Grand Guignol”)? Claire Holt thinks not…
Thanks to Genevieve taking Klaus on bitter trip down memory lane, revealing to him that his sister and protégé are the ones responsible for bringing dear ol’ dad (Mikael) back to New Orleans in 1919, the Mikaelson family is all but a fragment of its former “Always and Forever” self — but what of Rebekah and Marcel’s rocky romance.
“Their relationship is certainly fractured right now, so I don’t think it’s any Romeo and Juliet run-off-into-the-distance type of love story,” Claire tells MTV. “It’s going to be a bonding experience for them, what they go through. They’re going to have to choose each other and team together if they want to survive what they’re faced with.”
And will Marcel have trouble leaving the only place he’s ever called home?
"[Rebekah] wants to do it with Marcel,” Claire continued. “She wants to escape, and I think he is tied to his home. It's a very difficult choice for him to make, and we're going to see the repercussions of that.”
Given the macabre episode title for tonight’s all-new episode, we think there could be some serious repercussions for these two. After all, Klaus isn’t exactly the forgiving type.
