Scandal Season 3 is a shortened season, so Season 3, Episode 18 ("The Price of Free and Fair Elections") is the season finale. We're already preparing ourselves for all the twists, turns, and OMG moments we expect to be packed into this final hour of Scandal's third season.

While we know jaw-dropping shocks are a given with any Scandal finale, what are the details of this one? The official ABC synopsis clues us in.

Election Day has arrived and nothing is off limits as the candidates try to capture votes. Meanwhile, Olivia tries to understand Maya’s motives and Charlie makes a very surprising move.

Election day already! Time sure does move fast in the world of Scandal. With three murderers in the running for the title of most powerful man (or woman) in the world, we know things are going to get dirty.

Meanwhile, we're excited to see Olivia try to understand her mother and her motivations, in part because we have absolutely no idea what Maya is really after, and we're eager to learn the answer.
