Now that Lysa has had her very, err, satisfying marriage to Littlefinger, the two are going to live happily ever after, right? Isn’t that what always happens on this show? Not a chance! As we have already seen, Lysa is going to grow suspicious and jealous of Sansa. Lysa has already accused her of sleeping with Littlefinger the first time they were alone together, and it’s only going to get worse.
Eventually, the normally level-headed Littlefinger slips up and kisses Sansa in a very non-uncle-y kind of way. The biggest problem with that, besides its inherent level of creepiness, is that Lysa sees him do it, and she doesn’t take it well. Lysa holds Sansa over the moon door, threatening to drop her while accusing her of wanting to steal Littlefinger for herself.
Sansa is rescued by Littlefinger, who convinces Lysa to release her. Once she does, Littlefinger talks Lysa down by telling her that he’s only ever loved one woman. When Lysa thinks he’s talking about her, Littlefinger clarifies: “Only Cat,” and then shoves Lysa out the moon door. And that’s the end of crazy Aunt Lysa.
