The Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Why Does Bonnie Drop the Veil?

Caution! The Vampire Diaries spoilers from Zap2It for Season 4, Episode 22, “The Walking Dead” below.

Poor Bonnie (Kat Graham). That witch has been through the ringer on The Vampire Diaries. In Season 4, Episode 22, “The Walking Dead,” executive producer Julie Plec tells Zap2It that Bon-Bon might be as unenthralled with Silas as she thinks.

"She really believes that she's found the strength inside to keep him out of her head, so she thinks that she's got a one-up on him," said Julie. "She's going to take that opportunity not only to stop him from doing what he's trying to do, which is dropping the veil all over the world, but also to find some way to put him down."

Hm, we thought Bonnie wanted the veil down. That’s what she told Katherine (Nina Dobrev), at least. So how do all those ghosts get into Mystic Falls? It’s all about Qetsiyah. Bonnie needs her ancient ancestor’s help with Silas, so she does a spell.

Julie teases, “What Bonnie does, how she does it, and how it connects to ghosts suddenly walking through Mystic Falls is all part of the next episode."

Um, let’s hope she has the reverse spell in her pocket. Or her grimoire.
