Star-Crossed: Not All Characters Are Going to Survive Episode 10 (VIDEO)

There's a storm a-brewin in Edendale, and it's not just the weather. In Star-Crossed Season 1, Episode 10: "What Storm Is This That Blows So," a dangerous storm hits Southeast Louisiana, putting Marshall High on total lockdown — and series Executive Producer Adele Lim hints that the weather might be influenced by unnatural causes.

"Marshall High is hit with this mysterious hurricane that comes out of nowhere," she explains in a preview clip from the CW. "And it sort of takes everyone by surprise. Hurricanes normally you know when they're coming, and there's something odd about this one."

Yikes! Could the hurricane have been caused by the weapon mentioned in Episode 9, the Suvek? It's supposed to be mega-dangerous to humans — and a storm wouldn't pose as much of a threat to Atrians, who can breathe underwater. It would make sense… especially since it seems Teri (Chelsea Gilligan) knew what was about to happen, and came prepared.

"When the school goes into shutdown mode, it sort of turns it into this pressure cooker for all our different characters," Adele continues. This is only aggravated when Teri drugs Roman (Matt Lanter) with an Atrian herb that makes him hyper-aggressive, damaging his relationship with Emery Whitehill (Aimee Teegarden) and stomping on his already-burning bridge with Grayson Montrose (Gray Damon).

Roman and Emery are already under a ton of pressure — at the end of Episode 9, their relationship was outed to the world by Roman's shady uncle Castor (Johnathon Schaech), making them a target for mean-spirited classmates, not to mention both human and Atrian violent extremists.

How bad is it? We get a little preview in the clip, when Roman sees Grayson and Emery speaking, and responds… well, unreasonably. He pushes Grayson into the wall and threatens to kill him. When hot-headed Drake (Greg Finley) is the one holding you back from a fight, you know you have a problem, dude.

"Not all of our characters, and not all our relationships, are going to survive this storm," says Adele. Double-yikes.

Watch the preview below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments! Who will and won't survive, and what caused the storm?
