Glee Star Mourns the Cancelation of Her Show

Glee star Vanessa Lengies (Sugar) is a little bummed this week — and for good reason. Her new show, Mixology, was axed by ABC last week for not bringing in enough viewers, and the show’s final episode aired Wednesday.

To commemorate the occasion, Vanessa posted a somber selfie to Twitter to show fans how she feels about the show ending so prematurely. “9 minutes to closing time east coast,” she said. “Big finale #mixology happy/sad.”

In the past, Vanessa has expressed that she left Glee for Mixology in order to take on a role that gave her meatier acting challenges. We wonder what she’s headed for next? We know she’s a bit tired of singing and dancing, so don’t expect anything like Glee in her future unless it comes with some seriously emotional scenes she’ll have to pull off.

One door closes, another opens. We don’t doubt that Vanessa will be able to find an awesome next project to sink her teeth into very soon! And if not, she isn’t totally against making a return to Glee in its final season when it kicks off next January. Sugar Motta might live again!

Are you sad to see Mixology go too? What kind of show would you like to see Vanessa star in next?
