This Mad Men Star Played a Baby Burlesque Dancer in 1993 — Who Is She?
Many beloved TV stars landed their early roles in soap operas, Law & Order episodes and made-for-TV biopics. This lovely lady was in the latter at age 11, playing a child version of legendary burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee in 1993's Gypsy.
Performing under the overbearing eye of stage mom Rose Hovick (played by Bette Midler), Gypsy got started in vaudeville — meaning that this actress dressed up in a ton of adorable, goofy outfits to play the part. She even dressed as Uncle Sam, beard and all.
Flash-forward almost two decades, and this actress has a high-profile gig on critically-acclaimed show Mad Men, but she worked hard to get where she is!
Need a hint? This gal met moderate success as a child star, moving on to star in a cult classic, live-action Disney film in 1995. In fact, she had consistent work right up until her big break in 2007.
