Which Former Mob Wives Star Sued Grand Theft Auto for $40M for Stealing Her Life Story?

The reason we love our Mob Wives: New Blood stars is for their relatable real world problems — OK, and their dramatic feuds — so it’s easy to forget sometimes that these women are tied to the life. Whether it’s through their husbands or their older male relatives, each and everyone has an alleged mob connection, and that stuff is no joke.

We had a friendly reminder of that connection recently when a former cast member filed a lawsuit against the mega-popular Grand Theft Auto V video game for ripping off her life story. Oh, and she says the likeness is so obvious, she’s asking for a cool $40 million.

During last night’s February 28 reunion special, Wetpaint Entertainment asked Viggle LIVE! users if they knew which season three departee is the woman in question.

The results were pretty split, but it appears that some of you at least have been keeping up with your current events. Over 43 percent of users correctly identified Karen Gravano as the woman embroiled in a legal battle with the video game company. Ramona Rizzo was the second most popular choice, with 33 percent voting in her favor. Only 24 percent thought that it was Carla Facciolo that’s doing the suing.

Karen Gravano, the daughter of crime boss Sammy “The Bull” Gravano, filed a lawsuit against the makers of the game in February 2014 for allegedly using her image and story without her consent. The game set records last year when it grossed $1 billion in only three days.

Do you think Grand Theft Auto owes Karen money? What did you think of the Mob Wives reunion last night? Tell us in the comments below.
