Stars of TLC’s ‘The Little Couple’ Go to India to Meet Adopted Daughter Zoey
Got a box of tissues nearby? You’re gonna need ‘em, as this story is one that will make your heart swell. Dr. Jennifer Arnold and husband Bill Klein of TLC’s The Little Couple just got word that, after a tumultuous year of waiting and wondering, their adoption of little Zoey in India has been approved. There had been many issues and, as months passed by, the couple didn’t know if the adoption was going to happen.
"We are thrilled to announce that we've picked up our beautiful daughter, Zoey, from India today," the couple gushed toPeople in an exclusive statement. "Our hearts have grown in the past six months as new parents to William, and we are excited and overjoyed to welcome Zoey to our family and watch Will becoming a loving big brother."
Like many couples out there, Jen and Bill struggled with fertility issues for years before they brought their son, Will, home from an orphanage in China.
As Jen explained in a clip from the show, this isn’t how they envisioned starting their family, but “things happen the way they were meant to be.” “It’s an amazing thing,” she went on to say.
Bill said he is thrilled to be going to pick up “the cutest girl on the planet.” He lovingly spoke of what an adventure the whole experience has been for them, saying, “We went around the world twice to get our children.”
Both children have a form of dwarfism like their parents.
