The Walking Dead’s amazing Steven Yeun (Glenn Rhee) just signed with new management — and hopefully that just means we’ll get to see even more of him on the big and small screens.
According to Deadline, Steven recently signed with Gotham/Principal for management and Paradigm. In case it’s relevant, they added they he’s keeping the same lawyer, Adam Kaller. So if you want to know who to call to file a lawsuit against TWD producers for torturing Glenn season after season, maybe it’s that guy.
Steven isn’t the only TWD star mixing up his professional life. Back in October, both Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) and Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) revealed they were signing with Creative Artists Agency.
But unlike Norman and Andy, Steven, now 30, was a relative newcomer when he started on TWD in 2010. Now he’s adding more credits to his resume and a film he’s in, I Origins, just premiered to very positive reviews at Sundance.
I Origins was acquired by Fox Searchlight, so hopefully it will get a wide enough distribution for the rest of us to see it. The film was written and directed by Mike Cahill and also stars Michael Pitt, Brit Marling, Archie Panjabi, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey and William Mapother. Here's a synopsis, via IMDb: "A molecular biologist and his laboratory partner uncover evidence that may fundamentally change society as we know it.”
It would be great for Steven to pick up more film work, but hopefully he can just add it to his schedule on The Walking Dead. We don’t want his character to go anywhere … except to wherever Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) is, since we’re sick of The Powers That Be always finding new ways to keep them apart. Let at least one couple on this show be happy, please!
The Walking Dead Season 4 returns with Episode 9 on Sunday, February 9 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
