Kim Kardashian Suing YouTube Co-Founder for Leaking Kanye West Proposal

Is nothing sacred anymore? Despite the fact that every person in attendance at Kanye West’s surprise proposal at AT&T Park on Kim Kardashian’s birthday signed a confidentiality agreement, a video clip of the extravagant proposal/engagement party has made its way onto the internet — courtesy of none other than YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley.

Well, the Kardashians, who aren’t exactly strangers to leaked videos, have wasted no time getting litigious over this most recent one. Kim and Ko. are taking Chad to court for violating the NDA he signed, though the terms of the suit aren’t specified in the court docs obtained by TMZ. What is in the lawsuit is a whole lot of trash talk toward the man who made a killing off the world’s most popular video sharing site.

Kim’s lawyer accuses Chad of manipulating his way into the surprise event, and using his access to help bolster his “second act,” a mobile-optimized video editing and sharing site called MixBit. Chad tweeted a link to the video after Kanye’s proposalpalooza, congratulating the couple.

We have to say, Chad’s video editing skills lead a lot to be desired, so we’ll just stay tuned for when it inevitably airs on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
