Pretty Little Liars Summer Finale Script Spoiler Hints at “World War ‘A’”

Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King has promised an epic Season 4 summer finale, and now we have our first glimpse at the actual script. What does this sneak peek reveal about what’s to come in Season 4, Episode 12: “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t”?

Marlene shared a selective snapshot of the Season 4 script. It shows this line of dialogue from Spencer: “Or has she just declared World War ‘A’?” Followed by the action line: “PLLs exchange tense looks.” And the descriptor: “End of teaser.”

So it looks like this line will be coming right before the transition to credits, i.e. in the very beginning of the episode. And it sounds like “A” has confused the Liars yet again with her antics. Have the Liars finally pushed “A” to her breaking point? And how might this connect to the reveal of whether Ali is alive or not (also promised in this ep)? Whatever’s going down, it sounds like the summer finale starts with a bang of World War-like proportions. Epic, indeed.

What do you think Spencer is talking about in this script sneak peek? Share your theories in the comments below!

Catch the episode on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
