Pretty Little Liars Summer Finale Spoilers — It’s “Heart-Stopping”

The Season 4 summer finale of Pretty Little Liars is just days away! Season 4, Episode 12: “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t” airs on Tuesday, August 27, and we’re expecting shock twists and cliffhangers galore. This is PLL, after all. This show never goes out without a bang.

The anticipation is killing us, but thankfully, showrunner Marlene King is here to help tide us over with plenty of spoiler-iffic teases and reveals. The PLL boss took to Twitter on August 23 for an extended Q&A with fans.

In addition to promising that the finale will be “heart-stopping” and telling fans that “minds will be blown” on the night of the show, Marlene provided snippets of lines and bits of info about what to expect from various characters. Here are the highlights from her finale teasers.

Q: Will Mona be back?

“Mona is absolutely in the summer finale.”

Q: Will the REAL identity of Red Coat be revealed in the summer finale or in the Halloween episode?”

Okay, we’re super-stoked to hear that all of our favorite ‘ships are about to get some lovin’. And the teases about Spoby sound plenty dramatic. But what exactly does Marlene mean by her last tweet? It sounds to us like she’s implying that the big Red Coat reveal will happen both in the summer finale and in the upcoming Season 4 Halloween episode. Is Red Coat’s identity part of a cliffhanger? Is it a two-part reveal? We’re on the edge of our seats waiting to find out.
