Should Cynthia Bailey Have Surgery? Kenya Moore Says…
This week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey made an important confession about the state of her health, revealing that she's been suffering from uterine fibroids ever since giving birth to her daughter, Noelle. Her only options to rectify the situation are either a radical hysterectomy or a procedure called uterine fibroid embolization.
"As gorgeous as Cynthia is, abdominal bloating will never distract from her beauty. I have suffered from fibroids many years and had to have surgery to remove them several years ago. I encouraged her to have them removed and I’m glad she has Peter’s support in doing so," Kenya wrote.
“I will be having a surgery and rectifying the [situation]. That will play out on the show," Cynthia said, explaining, “I decided I did want to share it with the world because I felt like there is a lot of education in this process that I am going to be going through. I really want to be somewhat of a health advocate for ‘Hey, take care of yourself.’ It’s great to be successful and do all these great things, but I can’t be a role model if I’m not healthy, if I’m not alive.”
