The Originals Synopsis: Season 2 Episode 11 — “Brotherhood of the Damned”
We’re so ready for The Originalsto come back from the seemingly interminable midseason hiatus, especially given how action-packed the next string of episodes appears to be. Check out the synopsis for Season 2, Episode 11 (“Brotherhood of the Damned”). Stuff is going down!
Alliances will be tested when Vincent, armed by “an elaborate spell that allows him to take the upper hand” traps brothers Klaus and Elijah. But the duo aren’t the only Mikaelsons affected by said spell. Kaleb is also “in trouble,” forcing Davina to “team up with the Originals to help.” Yes, bring on the Davina/Originals team up! Extra points if Marcel is around to help out. We love when this cast of characters set aside their (understandable) differences and joins forces.
Sadly, it sounds like Marcel probably won’t be around to help fight Vincent. Following “deadly events in the previous episode,” Marcel will be working overtime to “calm his volatile pack of suffering vampires.” Flashback alert! This will cause him to remember “his days as a soldier during World War I.” Praise!
What will Hayley be up to while all of this is going down? Well, good news! She won’t be arrange-married to Jackson yet. According to the synopsis, Hayley and Jackson “must participate in extreme and unconventional rituals prior to their wedding.” Please let it be ballroom dancing classes. Spoiler: it’s probably not ballroom dancing lesson (boo!). The rituals will “put them both in a dangerous position.” (Like a Dirty Dancing lift?)
Here’s the full synopsis:
“Armed with more power than ever, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) creates an elaborate spell that allows him to take the upper hand and trap his brothers Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies). Realizing that Kaleb (Daniel Sharman) is also in trouble, Davina (Danielle Campbell) has no choice but to team up with the Originals to help. After the deadly events in the previous episode, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) must try to calm his volatile pack of suffering vampires, while remembering his days as a soldier during World War I when his leadership skills were equally brought to the test. Finally, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) finds herself conflicted when she learns that she and Jackson (Nathan Parsons) must participate in extreme and unconventional rituals prior to their wedding, which will put them both in a dangerous position.”
