Game of Thrones Synopsis for Season 4, Episode 3: “Breaker of Chains”

If the Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere still feels too far away, perhaps the glimpse of the show's future that we get in the synopses for the first four episodes of the season will help pass the time. What exactly can we look forward to in Season 4, Episode 3 ("Breaker of Chains")?

Here's what the official synopsis of the episode has to reveal:

Tyrion ponders his options. Tywin extends an olive branch. Sam realizes Castle Black isn’t safe, and Jon proposes a bold plan. The Hound teaches Arya the way things are. Dany chooses her champion.

Yeah, that's pretty cryptic. It's Game of Thrones — they never like to give away too much! Still, these few teases do give us some idea of what to expect in this episode.

For instance, it sounds like this episode will be one of the ones where Jon starts to show those leadership skills we keep hearing about. And we're really excited about the Dany plotline. This episode is called "Breaker of Chains," which definitely sounds like it's a reference to the Mother of Dragons, who currently seems determined to free every slave she finds.

What are you most excited for in this episode? Let us know in the comments below!

Catch the Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere on April 6, 2014 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
