Will T-Dog Be on The Walking Dead Spin-Off? IronE Singleton Says…

We were pretty upset when T-Dog (IronE Singleton) was killed off of The Walking Dead towards the end of Season 3, even if he did do a noble thing and sacrifice himself to save Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride).

Like most people who are given the old heave-ho from TWD we can imagine that IronE wasn’t very happy to leave the hit AMC show, but when Comicbook.com asked him if he still watches his former show, his answer was a bit surprising, or maybe not, depending on how you look at it.

Of course he still watches!

“It’s picking up. I was interested in what was going on with Patrick. I’m still curious. What is killing people? Is it in the water?,” he began. “And now in Episode 2, who burned the bodies? What is going on? I think it’s about to get really, really exciting.”

Still, IronE has kept some distance from the show since getting axed last season. In fact, he hasn’t even visited the set since his departure! But don’t worry, he has a good reason. We’ll let him explain. “ I have been so busy I have not been down there yet. I’ve been saying to myself when I get an opportunity I’m going down there. I’m a couple hours away. I’m doing so many things like preparing for this one man show that’s been a long time in the making and going to all these conventions, speaking engagements. I have not had an opportunity yet.”

And T-Dog fans may be happy to hear that if it’s up to IronE, we haven’t seen the last of his character yet. When asked if he will be involved in AMC’s upcoming TWD spin-off, IronE was very optimistic.

“I’m hoping to be in the spin-off. How cool would that be to be a part of that show? Anything that happens, I’m maintaining a really great relationship with everybody attached to the show...So it could happen. I could pop up anywhere. I’m looking forward to the future.

Robert Kirkman has said he wants the spin-off to be completely separate from TWD, but we suppose you never know what might happen down the line!
