A select few of Tamar Braxton’s “Tamartians” have the star saying enough is enough. After watching their idol in a bit of a war against her elder sister, Towanda Braxton, on Season 3 of Braxton Family Values, dozens of Tamartians have taken to attacking Towanda online. Sadly, some have even gone way over the line and wished harm on Wanda’s kids! That’s when Tamar had to tell her fans she would not tolerate their hate — point blank and period.
Tamar took to Twitter on February 23 to tell her fans, “My relationship w/ my sisters & I have NOTHING 2do w/u being a #tamartian threats or being rude 2my family will get u BLOCKED!I [heart] my sissys.”
As you may recall, Towanda has received some backlash after her issues with Tamar aired during the latter half of Season 3. While live-tweeting during Episode 25 (“Award Show Shade!”), Towanda was called “jealous” and she received some hateful comments from fans who threatened her kids. That’s when Towanda went out of character and threw a lot of shade at brother-in-law Vincent Herbert’s tax lien.
“[Tamar] was pissed! Rightfully so… I was in trouble because it was totally out of character for me, until I explained,’Hey these children are attacking your niece and your nephew.’ Then they understood. Like ‘Okay, we get it. We wouldn’t have done it that way but we get it,” Towanda explained to Bossip.
Despite whatever’s going on with her family, Tamar knows that it’s just temporary. During the BFV season finale on February 20, the Grammy-nominated artist tweeted, “Family's can go through ups and downs. Who's right or wrong but at the end of the day I [heart] them and wouldn't trade them #LoveAndWar.”
There you have it, Tamartians. Don’t go against Tay-Tay or you’ll be on her blockedlist.org.
