Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3 newcomer Tammy Rivera hasn’t gotten much screen time in the past four episodes, but she made it pretty apparent in the Season 3 premiere — “The Next Chapter” — that she’s still got some lurking insecurities thanks to fiancé Waka Flocka Flame’s unfaithful past. While chatting with VH1, Tammy digs a little deeper into their infidelity-filled relationship.
On a scale from 1 to 10, Tammy scored Waka’s cheating as “a 20,” adding, “I’m not going to lie. He was off the chain when I first met him and I didn’t know it.”
Tammy went on to say that once she learned of everything he was doing behind her back, “ you couldn’t pay me to believe that was the man I was in love with because he never showed me that side … he was a dog a— n—.” Tammy said that Waka has changed (thankfully) “tremendously” and she couldn’t “emphasize that enough.” Tammy gushed, “Of course he’s still a work in progress. He still has his faults but trust me he’s nothing compared to when I first met him.”
This, of course, is great to hear — especially since there’s been some whispers of Waka returning to his former ways. As we reported, an anonymous woman took to Instagram recently with photos of a sleeping Waka to “prove” to Tammy that her man was once again stepping out of the relationship. However, Tammy shut that down (including rumors that she posted the photos for more media attention) on Twitter not too long after.
“Ppl please stop believing the hype lol,” Tammy tweeted back, and even posted a photo of she and Waka happily smooching it up.
We’re glad to see that Waka’s making an effort to change, but as Tammy also said, he has a long way to go.
