Tamra Barney Wants to Change Her Last Name: Why Won’t Facebook Let Her?

Call her Mrs. Judge — just not on Facebook!

Tamra Barney wed fiance Eddie Judge in a gorgeous ceremony in Dana Point, California on June 15. Since then, the Real Housewives of Orange County has been enjoying married life with pre-honeymoon vacation in Cabo. But there’s one tiny detail she wants to get taken care of ASAP: changing her last name from Barney to Judge.

The name swap has been on her mind ever since tying the knot. On June 17, Tamra Barney tweeted, “Mrs. Judge.”

She’s successfully changed the name on her Twitter profile to Tamra Judge (without changing her Twitter handle), but has hit a snafu with trying to alter her Facebook profile name.

Tamra posted on Facebook about her frustrations with trying to make the name change happen.

For all of you that keep asking...FB ‘public page’ will not allow you to change your name,” wrote Tamra. “Its [sic] a big process and I am not about to give up 285K friends to open up a new page.”

There’s no word yet on whether Tamra has legally changed her name with the State of California. She and Eddie did get their marriage license taken care of days before their wedding. But we’ll be crossing our fingers for a quick resolution to her Facebook conundrum!
