It’s not unusual for reality TV stars to take to eBay to sell their used clothing to fans — Vicki Gunvalson’s done it, the Kardashians do it — but when some items recently showed up on Tamra Barney’s eBay page, RadarOnline.com slammed the Real Housewives of Orange County star. The site said Tamra was keeping the money for herself and not giving it to charity, leaving the reality star no option but to defend herself.

“I’ve been [selling things on eBay] for years. Part of the money goes to charity and the other part goes into my kids’ college fund,” Tamra tells Real Mr. Housewife of RumorFix. “My kids get so excited to see the bidding go up.”

RadarOnline.com’s story claimed “if [Tamra] is looking to pay her legal bills in her custody battle… she’s going to have to clean out more closets.” Clearly the site was alluding to the reality star’s ongoing legal battle with ex-husband Simon Barney as a hindrance on her bank account and that she’s turning to the auction site to help get her through the tough times, but Tamra is shrugging these claims off.

Glancing at Tamra’s eBay page, you can see what items she has up for bidding and that she has 100 percent positive feedback. Not only does she have no negative comments, but she doesn’t even have any neutral comments. Clearly she is a great seller and we say there’s no harm in her earning a little extra dough.
