Teen Mom 2’s Adam Lind Rescued From Wrecked Car Seconds Before It Exploded

If you see the wreckage from Adam Lind's car crash, you may think it's a miracle he's still alive. Teen Mom 2's Adam — ex-boyfriend of Chelsea Houska and father of their daughter Aubree — was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, TMZ reports, after a major accident on Friday, February 21 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

TMZ says he was driving his 2001 Corvette Z06 at very high speeds when he hit a Lincoln Town car, which police said was driven by an 87-year-old woman with a 94-year-old passenger. Thankfully, it sounds like everyone made it out OK, with a lot of credit going to some heroic witnesses who ran to the busted vehicles and pulled everyone out just seconds before the Corvette burst into flames. It's like something out of a movie! Adam and the poor elderly couple were taken to a local hospital, but it sounds like everyone is going to make it. Major kudos to those quick-thinking rescuers.

If you want to see the car wreckage, head here to TMZ. It's amazing. No word yet on whether any charges might be filed.

Adam has a history of questionable decisions, including three DUIs. Chelsea talked about Adam's behavior during Teen Mom 2's after show. "He should be setting a good example for her [Aubree]. And that's a problem, to get three DUIs, you know. I don't really want to say he has a drinking problem, but he's just not making very good choices. What if he got in an accident and died, she wouldn't have a dad. Or what if he hurt someone else, he would be in jail, you know? He just doesn't think about other things that his choices affect. Aubree does not know that he's been to jail, because why would I tell her? She doesn't even know what that means."

Just the day before this accident, Adam was showing off a new tattoo in honor of his new daughter Paislee Mae, whom he welcomed in September with baby mama Taylor Halbur.

Adam has a lot to live for, so we're glad to hear he and the other couple should be OK. The car itself isn't OK, but maybe this is a reminder to slow down and focus on what really matters.
