Kailyn Blames Jenelle for Leaking Her Pregnancy News Online in ‘Teen Mom 2’ Sneak Peek
Way back in February just before Kailyn Lowry announced her pregnancy to the public, there was a whole lot of drama, as the big reveal accidentally hit the internet before Kail was ready.
In a sneak peek, Kail tells a pal about how her co-star’s tweet “congratulating” her on the news accidentally let the cat out of the bag.
“I’m afraid of not having control of my own story. I got online, I was going to get ready to announce my pregnancy and Jenelle had like, leaked it,” she says.
“She tweeted me saying ‘congratulations on your pregnancy, so excited for you’ or whatever. She said she heard it from the crew but I talked to MTV and I don’t think the crew leaked it.”
She continues, “I don’t know if she was doing it to be a smart ass or if she was doing it really congratulating me. I feel like I would text somebody that."
“I was upset because I had not had my 20-week scan yet. I wanted to make sure everything was OK before...now that it’s out, I’m going to post telling my story in my own words.”
As we know, Kail then proceeded to share the baby news on her blog, but will she forgive Jenelle for the slip-up?
In another clip we see Jenelle get some quality time in with her kids, including Kaiser, Ensley, and Jace, who’s visiting the new house for the first time.
We’re sure the Kailyn drama will come up elsewhere in the episode, though.
“Then what? What kind of dad are you committed to be? Luis, you already have a daughter and you’re not there. Do you understand what I’m saying?”
And in true DeJesus fashion, Roxanne’s got quite a retort when Luis says he’s there for his oldest child, “whatever she needs from me.”
“But here’s the thing, it’s not whenever. Kids need something every single day. Even me, I’m 46 and they’re grown and it’s still not f—king easy for me.”
Lastly, Leah Messer and Corey Simms have a candid discussion of their own about Ali, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, after her teacher tells them she’s been struggling a lot in school and might need extra help.
“The teacher told me today when I picked her up that I should push for her to get an aide,” Leah tells her ex.
“My question to her was, if she gets an aide, is she going to be separated from [the class]? That’s what I feared.”
But Corey, who used to deny his daughter’s disability entirely, now has the right idea.
“We gotta deal with it while she’s young so it’ll be normal. This is first grade, it’ll be like that until probably twelfth grade.”
Watch all four sneak peeks above and tune into a new episode of Teen Mom 2, Monday, August 21 at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
