In case you haven't heard the news, Chelsea Houska is looking better than ever these days! Wetpaint Entertainment recently caught up with the fit and fabulous Teen Mom 2 star at MTV studios in New York City, where she dished all about her new look and what inspired it.
"I work out. I was juicing. I got into this really big health kick for a while and I'm still really into it," the 22-year-old revealed during our exclusive interview.
It all started back in May when Chelsea tweeted about snacking on raw almonds while her friends were all busy chowing down on pizza. Talk about self control! During that time she also took up a variety of fitness activities including hot yoga and kick-boxing, and at one point was even considering trying out pole dancing classes. Chelsea's 4-year-old daughter Aubree got in on the action this past summer when she helped her mom bake a batch of yummy kale chips. Delish!
So what inspired Chelsea's health and wellness regimen? None other than bad boy baby daddy, Adam Lind.
"After I got over the Adam thing I was like, wait a second — I have not been taking care of myself. I didn't feel good, you know what I mean?" she asked candidly. "I was just like, I want to focus on myself, I want to feel good about myself. This season I was like, I'm just gonna do me."
Right on, Chel! We're looking forward to seeing more of Chelsea's newfound confidence when Teen Mom 2 Season 5 premieres on Tuesday, January 21 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
