Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans and her now-estranged husband Courtland Rogers were arrested on felony heroin possession charges back in April, but there's good news to report. Jenelle got off scot-free! And even more importantly, she's been 100 percent clean and sober ever since with the help of Narcotics Anonymous. But guys? Jenelle can no longer attend meetings because too many people know who she is. #famouspeopleproblems, are we right?

"I'm attending NA meetings once a week," Jenelle tweeted to fans back on May 7. "U should see all my chips I have on my key chain for being sober for such a long time!"

When Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Jenelle at MTV studios New York City, the reality starlet admitted that she’s no longer following the program's 12 steps — but don't worry because she's got an airtight excuse.

"I'm not currently going to any meetings right now. It's because of who I am," Jenelle explained during our exclusive interview. "If I go to a meeting, even if it's anonymous, they know who I am."

So how is Jenelle staying on the straight and narrow without NA? With the help of her adoring boyfriend/baby daddy Nathan Griffith, of course.

"I've just been focusing on staying sober and Nathan helps me," she said. "As long as I keep away from the negative people I can stay sober. And Nathan doesn't do drugs, he doesn't smoke pot, he drinks occasionally but he's not an alcoholic. I've had problems with alcoholics before so I monitor his drinking and he monitors me. We work as a team."

As for her addiction-prone ex-lover Courtland, Jenelle has vowed to keep her distance — even though they're still technically married. Details, people.

What do you think of Jenelle's decision to stop attending NA meetings? Is she making a mistake? Weigh in below.
