Jenelle Evans and her now-estranged husband Courtland Rogers were arrested in April 2013 on felony heroin possession charges, and this season on Teen Mom 2 the troubled starlet is facing major jail time if convicted. Luckily, she's got North Carolina's best criminal defense attorney by her side: Dustin R.T. Sullivan, Esq.
Dusty's plan of attack? Having Jenelle plead guilty to the paraphernalia charges in exchange for 18 months of unsupervised probation, meaning all other felony charges will be dropped and Jenelle adds yet another get-out-of-jail-free card to her ever-growing collection. Sounds foolproof, right?
"I don't want to worry about it," Jenelle tells her bestie Tori in an exclusive sneak peek clip, clearly a bit nervous about the possibility of facing jail time if Dustin's plan doesn't pan out. (Spoiler alert — it does!)
Thankfully, Jenelle's got plenty of support from her new boyfriend, part-time underwear model Nathan Griffith, who's helped her get back on the straight and narrow. In the wise words of Tori, finally — a boyfriend without a criminal record!
But Courtland's still out there lurking in the shadows, and we'd imagine that he's pretty angry about Jenelle's airtight defense — not to mention the fact that she aborted his baby while he was shacked up at the Brunswick County Jail. Tori advises Jenelle to steer clear of her wayward ex-boo, and we couldn't agree more. Plus, who knows if he ever dealt with that little scabies problem.
Do you think Jenelle should take the possibility of jail time a little more seriously? Weigh in below, and don't miss tonight's all-new episode of Teen Mom 2 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
