It’s never a dull moment when Leah Messer’s ex Corey Simms (and his massive beard) makes a cameo appearance on Teen Mom 2. Despite the former couple’s stellar co-parenting skills with their twin daughters, Aliannah and Aleeah, their relationship is a bit strained — especially when Leah’s husband, Jeremy Calvert, is in the picture.
In this exclusive clip from MTV, Leah and Jeremy meet with Corey to pick up the girls after their cheerleading practice. While the girls offer comedic relief throughout the clip — especially with Aleeah’s awesome skills in paying attention, and Aliannah oh-so-casually checking herself out in the mirror — the three adults talk about Aleeah possibly playing — wait for it — softball.
“I think Aleeah would do better with softball or something,” Corey says in response to Aleeah’s poor skills in paying attention. “Then you don’t have to pay attention and learn something.”
Leah counters Corey’s genius suggestion by saying, “Could you imagine doing traveling softball?” Once Corey says he was thinking more along the lines of little league, Jeremy goes along and agrees with Corey, much to Leah’s obvious displeasure. Bad move, Jeremy.
Even though Leah plays it off cool, she ultimately confronts Jeremy about the matter once they get inside the car. “It just kind of bothers me when you gang up with Corey,” Leah tells to Jeremy. She then goes on to say that she feels that Jeremy always agrees with Corey because he seems “uncomfortable” around Leah’s ex. Jeremy’s response? “I feel uncomfortable about certain things.”
Like what, you ask? You'll have to watch the video above and tune in on an all-new Teen Mom 2 tonight at 10 p.m. ET on MTV to find out.
