Kids these days. They grow up so fast! It seems like just yesterday that Briana Dejesus gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Nova Star, on MTV's 16 and Pregnant, and we can't believe Nova just celebrated her second birthday!
This little lady has come a long way since she was crawling around the Dejesus House of Hotness in diapers, but one thing that hasn't changed? Nova is still addicted to her pacifier. This is a potentially huge problem — not only are pacifiers terrible for children's teeth (ask Dr. Randy Houska!), the longer you let kids suck on them, the harder it is to break the habit.
Luckily, Briana has a plan when it comes to weaning Nova off her pacifier.
"So today we finally found a few pacifiers 18-36 months!" Briana tweeted on September 16. "Orthodontic approved and Nova likes it! (: soon she will be off for good! BABY STEPS."
Way to break the cycle, home girl. Of course, if all else fails Nova can buy Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham's best-selling e-book, Passy Perfume. In case you hadn't guessed, it's about a pacifier that's also a perfume. Don't question it.
At what age do you think a child is too old for a pacifier? Should Briana make Nova quit cold turkey, or should she make it a drawn-out process so little Novs isn't too traumatized? Dish your thoughts in the comments!
