Teen Mom 3's Matthew McCann has been tirelessly trying to secure visitation rights with his daughter, Arabella, who lives with his baby mama/our favorite reality star, Alexandria Sekella. Matt and Alex don't exactly get along, and at this point it seems like girlfriend will do almost anything to keep her ex-boyfriend away from their kiddo. Poor Matt has had to jump through more than a few hoops to secure visitation with Bellie, and now it looks like the tricky subject of his criminal record has come up.
Matt was arrested when he was under the age of 18, but he recently took it to Twitter to explain that his record can't be used against him.
"What person has the time to sit there and make up my criminal record?! Like I'm pretty sure I know my arrest dates and charges," Matt fumed, adding, "Also, not Sure if you know this but in 09, I was a minor. Those records cannot be touched. Use your head!!!!"
Unfortunately, Matt says the Lehigh County Courthouse has listed him as being charged for a crime he didn't commit, but the question is which crime? Matt's record states that he was arrested once in 2012 and once in 2013 for "Marijuana-Small Amt Personal Use," as well as once in 2013 for "Use/Poss Of Drug Paraph." We're not sure why Matt was arrested in '09, but if he doesn't get the erroneous charges fixed they could potentially impact many aspects of his life — especially visitation with Arabella!
Hopefully, Matt will divulge why he arrested back in his golden years as a disgruntled youth, but we assume the charge was a small-time infraction. Either way, it's been a long time since Matt's had a brush with the law.
Do you think his arrests should have an impact on his relationship with his daughter?
