10 Things to Know About Teen Mom 3's Mackenzie Douthit
You first met Mackenzie Douthit and her pom-poms on Season 4 of MTV's 16 and Pregnant, and you'll soon be seeing a lot more of her! MTV just confirmed that she'll be joining the cast of Teen Mom 3. Three cheers for Kenzie!

1. She's From Oklahoma
Mackenzie hails from Miami, Oklahoma, where she currently lives with her family. We can't wait to see this gal's accent in action!
2. She Gave Birth to a Baby Boy
Mackenzie gave birth to her son, Gannon, on September 12, 2011. He weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 20 inches long. Wow, that's enormous!
3. She Was Engaged to Her Baby Daddy
Mackenzie and her baby daddy, Josh Mckee, began dating on February 24, 2010, and they were even briefly engaged! Don't worry, guys — they're still dating and still very much in love, just putting marriage on hold for a bit. Josh was born and raised in Oklahoma, where he's a professional rodeo rider. Sadly, he got into an accident while filming 16 and Pregnant, but as far as we know it hasn't held him back!
4. She Is a Cheerleader
The only thing Mackenzie loves as much as her baby are her pom-poms. This gal cheered competitively before getting pregnant, and she started up again soon after having Gannon.
5. She Loves Riding Horses
When Mackenzie isn't cheering her heart out, she loves nothing more than hoppin' on a horse and galloping around Oklahoma.
6. She Goes to Cosmetology School
Mackenzie wants to be a professional stylist, so she carved out time in her busy schedule for beauty school! "For everyone who is asking about Cosmo school. Its the best decision Ive ever made," Mackenzie tweeted. "I love all the girls and I will work in a salon one day."
7. Her Mom Is an Author
Mackenzie's mom, Angie Douthit, is a published author! In 1991, she took Mike Williams Douthit, (who had Down's Syndrome), into her home, and wrote a book about her experience. Mike lived with the Douthit family until his death in 2008, and was a huge part of Mackenzie's life.
8. Her Sister Is a Newlywed
Mackenzie's sister got married just two weeks after Gannon was born.
9. She's a Self-Declared "Child Of God"
Mackenzie is extremely religious and loves going to Bible study. We're curious to see how this gal's family deals with her teen pregnancy, especially considering what the Bible says about sex before marriage!
