16 and Pregnant Update: Will Sarah Roberts Go to College?

There's no doubt that 16 and Pregnant's Sarah Roberts has it rough.

She popped out a baby at the tender age of 16, was called a "dumbass" by her baby-daddy, and was abandoned for a boat full of shrimp.

So, what's this gal up to nowadays?

Sarah's life has vastly improved now that her baby daddy, Blake, is out of the picture. She's graduating high school at the end of May and plans to go to college and study psychology.

"I am soo excited for high school to end and college to begin!" Sarah tweeted on May 14. "Independence will be great! (:"

During her episode, Sarah mentioned that she hoped to get a degree in journalism, and it looks like she's already finding success as a writer!

Sarah just had an article published on The Huffington Post, where she wrote, "I'll still graduate high school on time and start college at a local school in the fall. I know that having an education will help me give my daughter the best life possible, so I'm doing everything I can to make that happen."

In other news, it looks like Sarah's finally moved on from her deadbeat baby daddy, and she even tweeted "WHAT WAS I THINKING?!!!" during her episode.

Sarah's doing a great job in her new role as #1 Mom, and says, "Sometimes being a mom is the hardest thing ever but watching Tinleigh meet big milestones makes all the hard work, worth while. (:"
