Jenelle Evans is having one heck of a day. The Teen Mom 2 star have to make a court appearance for the assault charges filed against her during her April 23 arrest (where she and newly-estranged husband, Courtland Rogers, were booked for heroin possession). And to make matters worse, her baby daddy, Andrew Lewis, slammed her in a Radar Online interview in which he accused Jenelle and her mother Barbara of keeping his son, Jace, away from him.
So, what did the Oak Island beauty have to say about her former flame’s claims?
“HAHAHAH and he owes only $12,000+ in child support and hasn't seen him since he's been born... Rigggght,” Jenelle tweeted to the gossip site. The Teen Mom 2 went on to tweet “he makes no sense... He knows what I do on a daily basis but hasn't seen my family in how long?! Lmfao.”
In case you didn’t hear, Andrew openly admitted to using heroin but has since “stepped up” to his problem. He went on to say that he wishes he could “[find] a better mother for Jace,” calling Jenelley dumber than a brick. Ouch!
While we can applaud Andrew for admitting to his drug abuse, we gotta give credit where it’s due. Jenelle maintained that she’s been clean and sober since November 2012. In fact, the little lady told fans via Twitter that she attends Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings on the regular and posted photos of sobriety cards and chips she takes everywhere to remind her to stay sober.
It’s great to know that Jace’s parents are working on their sobriety, and who knows — maybe someday in the future they just might get along long enough to work on their co-parenting skills.
