Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans had fans lighting candles all over the place when she was admitted to the hospital on July 22 for an emergency appendectomy, but now that we know she's safe and sound, we can chat about some slightly less important things. Like Jenelle's giant stomach tattoo, which was prominently featured in a photo of her incision site.
Jenelle inked her stomach back in November 2012 (right after her engagement to Courtland Rogers), and her tattoo reads "Cela Passera Aussi." Translation? "This Too Shall Pass." The quote is originally attributed to Persian Sufi poets, but Jenelle got it scrawled on her tummy in French because she’s French (who knew?). However, this gal never enlightened fans as to the deeper meaning of her tat — until now!
"Got it due to losing 25 lbs in one month due to heroin use," she explained, "and all my life I always had stomach issues."
Looks like Jenelle's prophetic stomach tattoo knows what's up! Her heroin addiction did pass (Jenelle's been sober since November 2012) –– but her stomach issues? Not so much. Let's hope Jenelle's appendectomy is the last abdominal hurdle she faces … we're not sure how many more hospitalizations this poor thing can take!
