Since her April 2013 arrest for heroin possession and simple assault, Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans has moved to South Carolina with new boyfriend Nathan Griffith, while estranged husband Courtland Rogers has been sitting behind bars. However, it looks like jailbird Courty may get his chance to finally fly free!

According to Jenelle’s lawyer, Dustin Sullivan, Courtland may be getting out of jail soon, as he’s entered a plea deal with the court.

“I have not confirmed, but heard that he entered into a plea for the felony possession of heroin and assault on a female and received a split sentence which includes receiving credit for all the time he has served in jail awaiting a plea and continuing on with probation,” Dustin told Wetpaint Entertainment. You know what that means? In a few days Courty will be single and ready to mingle … sort of.

As it stands, the 27-year-old is still legally married to Jenelle, though he too has plans to file for divorce from his estranged wife. According to Courty’s sister, Carson, and her boyfriend, Jim Yonkers, Courtland is ready to leave Jenelle behind and start his life fresh.

“[He] has no plans on getting back with Jenelle Evans Rogers,” Jim confirmed with RadarOnline. “When I spoke with Courtland he was really excited about getting out and living a sober life and continuing a life style in the public eye, but a sober one and one that he makes for himself, not one that comes from his wife Jenelle."

According to Dustin, Courty may be back in court tomorrow to deal with a felony probation violation. Check back with Wetpaint Entertainment for updates on this story, but in the meantime tell us — do you think Courtland should be released from prison? Dish your feels in the comments below!
