Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans is currently clean and sober (aside from her addiction to endless breadsticks at Olive Garden), but her life hasn't always been so peachy-keen. Nowadays, Jenelle spends her waking hours going to church with her boyfriend and frolicking on the beach with her son, but a year ago she was addicted to heroin.
Jenelle started her relationship with hardcore drugs while dating her ex-boyfriend, Kieffer Delp, and she quickly spiraled out of control. Luckily, she was able to quit cold turkey back in November 2012, and hasn't looked back since.
Unfortunately, Jenelle spent huge amounts of her hard-earned money on drugs, and she recently admitted just how many dollars she dropped to fund her addiction.
When Jenelle's ex-manager tweeted that she spent $250 per day on heroin, she responded "actually it was $400, and addiction is a disease so u shouldn't put me down. I'm sober now."
Way to put this dude in his place, Jenelle! Addiction is most definitely a disease, and Jenelle should be applauded for working so hard to fight it. The fact that she hasn't relapsed is a testament to her strength — though yikes. Four-hundred dollars per day is a lot of money down the drain! No wonder Jenelley was having trouble paying her rent during the end of Teen Mom 2's fourth season….
