Jenelle Evans's wallet just got a little bit thinner.
The Teen Mom star reportedly bailed her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, out of jail on September 7 after he was arrested in the wee hours of the morning following a wild car chase in South Carolina, according to Radar Online. Jenelle had been in the car with Nathan throughout the car chase, but she was not arrested.
Jenelle reportedly ponied up more than $5,000 to cover Nathan's bond. Nathan was released at just after 3 p.m. and will have a court date set in the near future.
Nathan was charged with a slew of offenses for the incident, including resisting arrest, disobeying an officer, speeding, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving with a suspended license, and DUI. That is not a short list. Also, this is his reportedly his third DUI arrest, which is not good.
Jenelle has had her own issues lately with the law as well, having been arrested last month after failing a drug test. She and Nathan had already been discussing marriage — even though Jenelle is still married to Courtland Rogers — so we'll have to see if Jenelle and Nathan continue to move forward with their plans.
We continue to wish all the best for Jenelle and little Jace moving forward.
