Hands up if you've blocked out the entirety of Spring 2013? It was a confusing and erotic time when Teen Mom's Farrah Abraham made the frightening transformation from pasta sauce salesman to porn star, and sold her groundbreaking sex flick, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, to Vivid Entertainment for a reported $1 million. Farrah corroborated these claims when TMZ asked her if she was a member of the Mill Club, and she simply replied "I am."
However, celebrity sex broker Kevin Blatt tells FOX411 that Farrah only got $10k — the same amount that Tami Erin (aka Pippi Longstockings) got for her tape. What the what?!
“Tami Erin was offered $10K up front which is standard for Vivid,” Blatt told FOX411. “It is what they offer every celebrity, not a million dollars. Paris [Hilton] and Kim [Kardashian] made millions, but that’s because it was a different time. People were buying DVDs then."
An additional source reveals that though Farrah only made small change upfront, she got 30 percent of sales, minus the cost of production.
“The entire celebrity sex video genre is a lot of unsubstantiated marketing with very little truth behind it… " the source says. "It’s all publicity. It’s all hype.”
So what does Vivid's president, Steven Hirsch, have to say for himself?
"I think after doing these deals for so many years I know how to properly structure them," he explained. "We aim for fair deals for all involved and if they weren't profitable, we wouldn't be in business for almost 30 years. I'm happy with our track record."
Looks like Farrah's happy, too! This gal have enough dough to pop chin implants in and out of her face on the regular, so she must be doing something right.
