These days, it can be hard for a couple to come up with a unique way to announce their pregnancy to the world — it seems like everything’s been done before.
We’ve all seen the viral videos of hysterical grandparents, witty photos, and even a somewhat disturbing surprise or two, but Jalene and Lincoln Taylor of Salt Lake City, Utah, have nailed it with their brand-new spin: they’ve produced a birth announcement video that takes "swaggy" to a whole new level. If you liked the ad campaign for the Volkswagen Swagger Wagon (aka, the minivan) a couple of years back as much as we did, you’ll love the beats the Taylors lay down as they celebrate the much-anticipated arrival of their baby boy or girl. We’re not sure why it’s so funny to see your average couple try to rap along to a chorus of “Where the Babies At?” but it’s hilarious.
This is one baby daddy who’s not afraid to throw stacks of cash at his pregnant lady (trust us, Lincoln, you’ll be needing those), in order to “turn this into a three man show.” Meanwhile, proud mom-to-be Jalene is looking forward to buying more bling (and by that we mean baby shoes), even as she has to stop the song in the middle of the action to pee … again.
The Daily Mail reports that the Taylors tried to concieve for 16 months before they finally got pregnant. No wonder they’re celebrating “The Taylor Baby” in such a unique way. Congrats to the happy couple!
