The moment we've been prayer-circling for has arrived. Jenelle Evans's scabies-scarred estranged husband, Courtland Rogers, is finally out of jail. Courtland was arrested back in October for a probation violation (he fell off the wagon and relapsed, sigh), but it looks like the North Cackalacky police are ready to forgive and forget.
This hunk made his great escape on January 11, and immediately hit up Twitter where he mused: "2,160 hours later … I'm so freaking happy right now omfgggggggggg lol."
Courtland reunited with his girlfriend, Samantha Ferrell, upon being released, and then drowned his sorrows in a nice cool glass of chocolate milk. It also appears as though he learned all the lyrics to Lorde's "Royals" and decided to tweet them. Thanks for that, Courtland — we hadn't been reminded of that song in at least five minutes.
So, what does Jenelle think of her sexy-exy's release? Shockingly, she has nothing but positive things to say to her estranged hubby, and took it to Sulia to write, "Courtland and I have moved on from each other, and are both very happy! I wish him the best, and wish him nothing but happiness! 2014 will be a year of sobriety, happiness, and new beginnings for both of us!"
Unfortunately, Courtland's year is already off to a rough start. Just a few days since his release, he's heading back to the Hanover County Courthouse, where (according to his blog) he's dealing with charges that Jenelle's sister, Ashleigh Evans, took out against him in January 2012. Hopefully Courty doesn't end up getting arrested again!
