One of the hardest parts about not having Teen Mom in our lives anymore (RIP, old friend) is that Maci Bookout's baby daddy, Ryan Edwards, is no longer lighting up the small screen. Sure, Ryan's on Twitter, but he hardly ever dishes his musings to the social media site, and when he does they're usually pertaining to his truck. So you can imagine our shock when Ryan took it to the internets to throw a little shade at his former co-star, Teen Mom's Farrah Abraham.
This infamous momtrepreneur has been been criticized for filming a sex tape with porn star James Deen, and now it looks like Ryan's weighing in on her questionable decisions.
"Farrah needs to be on scared straight!" Ryan tweeted on February 20. "She is a punk a— kid."
Feel the burn, Farrah. In case you aren't aware Scared Straight is a circa-1970s documentary about juvenile delinquents getting yelled at by inmates, but we think Ryan might actually be referring to Beyond Scared Straight, a reality show on A&E in which impressionable teens are taken to prison to be "scared straight" (read: totally traumatized) by what life behind bars looks like.
We're not so sure why Ryan thinks Farrah is a candidate for the show (she isn't doing anything illegal!), but apparently he believes that she's on a destructive path and needs to understand the realities of prison. Um, couldn't she just tune into Being Amber for that?
What do you think of Ryan's comment — is he being too harsh on Farrah, or do you agree that she needs to be "scared straight?"
