Last week, we were reminded how much we miss the original flavor Teen Mom when its biggest stars Amber Portwood, Farrah Abraham, and Catelynn Lowell were individually featured in one-off MTV specials. It was nice to catch up with the crew, but we’re now finding out that there may be a reason why they haven’t reunited in so long: the bad blood between Amber and Farrah.

This week, Amber revealed to Life & Style that she and the current Couples Therapy star had a longtime off-camera rivalry, that would sometimes lead to “heated” fights backstage at the Teen Mom reunion specials.

“Behind the scenes and at reunions, there were several incidents where things got heated,” Amber tells them. “Nobody was backing down.”

However, the girls have since gone through a lot in their individual lives, with Amber spending time in prison and Farrah dealing with the aftermath of a public sex tape. And with age and experience comes a new outlook on their relationship.

Amber attributes their past scuffles to the “huge attitudes” they both had at the time, but she says she hopes to make peace with her old sparring partner. “I’d love to give Farrah a hug now,” she shares. “I would like to reconnect now that we’ve both grown up.”

And it would seem that Farrah is on the same page. When Wetpaint Entertainment spoke exclusively with the reality star last month, she admitted that, although she hasn’t spoken to Amber since she was released from prison, she harbors no hard feelings towards her former co-star.

“I wish Amber all the best,” Farrah told us, adding, “I know that she’s made a lot of progress and for that I’m happy. I’m grateful that she took the time to do that. I have no ill will against anybody, so if they’re doing great, I wish them all the best with their different lives.”

Sounds like it’s about time for these two to have a little kiki to kiss and make up for good! Life’s too short for old drama. Time to bask in one another’s success!
