One word: finally. After more than a year of jail time, scabies attacks, and shade-throwing, Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans is getting divorced from her estranged husband, Courtland Rogers. These former lovebirds spent the better part of 2013 loathing each other with a passion, and it looks like they have a court date coming up on Tuesday June 10 (aka today!) to discuss the terms of their separation.
Sounds great, but there's one problem. Courtland recently earned himself an arrest warrant, which means he's wanted by the state of North Carolina. Which also means that if he shows up to his court date with Jenelle, he could get thrown into jail.
According to a report from RadarOnline.com, Courty failed to make an appearance at a separate court date with Jenelle's sister, Ashleigh Evans, on Monday June 9, and apparently his warrant stems from failing to appear in other court cases. Naturally, poor Courtland and his confederate flag tattoo are trying to contact Jenelle to hash things out before their court date, but girlfriend is having none of it.
“She and Courtland haven’t spoken to each other so if he shows up there is no telling what is going to happen," a source close to Jenelle tells Radar. "Courtland could get in a lot of trouble if he doesn’t do the right thing in court with Jenelle. She tells him to talk only to her lawyer because she wants nothing to do with him."
Makes sense — let's not forget that Jenelle is about nine months pregnant with her boyfriend Nathan Griffith's love child. It's no wonder that she doesn't want to communicate with Courtland! "She wants to get divorced, have her baby and marry Nathan and doesn’t want to deal with any of Courtland’s bullsh*t anymore,” the source adds.
We expect Jenelle to show up to her court date as planned, but do you think Courty will bite the bullet and make an appearance? Who knows what will happen if he fails to attend, but hopefully Jenelle's divorce will get the greenlight!
