Just when Teen Mom 2's Adam Lind seemed to have turned a corner and put his struggles behind him, he has experienced a brief setback. Adam was arrested this weekend for violating his enrollment in a drug and alcohol testing program.
Radar Online reports that Adam, 23, was arrested on June 27 for violating the stipulations of the 24/7 Program, a system for chronic DUI offenders which requires him to submit to drug and alcohol testing once a day.
"He either didn’t show up for testing or tested positive for alcohol," says a spokesperson for the Minnehaha County Jail. The spokesperson confirms that Adam will spend at least three days in jail. He will be held without bail until at least 1:30 p.m. on June 30. Adam has previously been found guilty of three DUIs, the most recent of which happened in March 2012.
"The saddest part is it was his one weekend per month with Aubree," a source says of Adam's daughter with Chelsea Houska. "So now she won’t get to see him."
This is hardly the first time Adam has booked some time in the Gray Bar Hotel. There have reportedly been eight incidents since 2009 in which he has been found guilty of driving without a license or with a suspended license. He also faced several misdemeanor charges after crashing into another car earlier this year and has been charged with attempted burglary.
Are you surprised that Adam is spending the weekend in jail?
