Amber Portwood's tell-all memoir, Never Too Late, has officially hit the shelves, and we can't wait to hear this gal's infamous story in her own words.

Amber's book deals with addiction, depression, and tons of baby mama drama, so it will doubtless inspire countless fans to do stay sober and make wise choices.

This Teen Mom star sat down with MTV to chat about her page turner, saying that she originally decided to write a book during her 17-month stay in the slammer.

“I had been thinking about writing a book since my stay in prison,” Amber explains. “I felt it was time when I got out to actually do it. I think my book is able to give strength and determination to those who are struggling.”

We're sure Amber's book will resonate with both teenage and adult readers, in fact, this girl already has a pint-sized super-fan: Her daughter, Leah Shirley! “She thinks it’s neat,” Amber tells MTV. “She said, ‘I’m in a story like the books I read!’ She’s adorable.”

Aww, so sweet! Sure, Leah probably hasn't read Amber's book (it's slightly dark for her age group...), but Never Too Late has no shortage of eager readers waiting to snatch it up. “I want people to read my book with an open mind,” Amber says. “I also hope my story can reach and help many people.”
