We’ve learned all kinds of life lessons from watching the documentary force of nature that is Teen Mom 2. For example, tie-dye is officially a fashion crime. No exceptions.

We’ve also picked up some bona fide words of wisdom from these ladies, so check out our top three lessons from “Falling”!

1. Don’t Be Ashamed to Ask for Help!

Jenelle’s already spent too much time dealing with her vices all on her lonesome, but this week she put her pride aside and admitted that she needs help.

After all, it takes team of trained professionals to get over an addiction to both pot and Kieffer Delp’s body odor.

At first, Jenelle was reluctant to put herself in the hands of a bunch of strange Californians, but look how much better she’ll be for it!

We wouldn’t normally suggest that anyone model their life on Jenelle’s, but in this case she taught us a valuable lesson: Don’t be afraid to reach out to other’s if you need help.

2. Put Yourself First

Chelsea loves doing charity work, but she also knows when to put her needs first. This week, Chelsea got an unwelcome call from her baby daddy, Adam Lind, which completely ruined her Independent Woman buzz.

It’s hard for Chelsea to concentrate on anything other than Adam’s charming chintee, but she soldiered up and distracted herself with ... herself!

Chelsea’s determination to take the GED teaches her fan-girls that the best way to deal with a lame ex-boyfriend is to ignore him completely and work on being even more awesome than you already are.

Who runs the world? Girls!

3. Keep Your Head in the Game

Splitting with Corey has been straight-up traumatizing for our girl Leah, but did you see how she reacted when he lawyered up? First, she cried all over her weave, but the tears only lasted for a moment before Leah got her priorities in order: Her kiddos come first.

Despite heartbreak, Leah made every effort to put her feelings aside to ensure that she got full custody of her twins.

Lesson learned? Fight for your rights now, sob into a body pillow later.
