Did celebrating Mother's Day this past weekend give you a major case of the 16 and Pregnant munchies?
Fear not, our favorite reality show is back with a vengeance this Tuesday with two new episodes, the first of which highlights Sarah Roberts!
Check out eight things you need to know to get pumped for Sarah's moment in the preggo spotlight.
1. She's a Georgia Peach
Sarah's from Chickamauga, Georgia! Seriously, what's the deal with sex education in this peach-happy state? Get it together, The South.
2. She Gave Birth to a Gorgeous Baby Gal
Welcome to the world, Tinleigh Louise Thomas! This little lady was born on June 18, and came in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces. How much do you love her unusual name? Sarah says, "my moms name is Tina and my middle name is LeAnna, so I combined the two."
3. She Gave Birth Via C-Section
Sarah had a C-section as opposed to a vaginal birth, which means her on-screen recovery will be much longer. Hope this gal's baby daddy will be there to help her through the rough times, but somehow we doubt it ...
4. She Ran Away With Her Baby Daddy
Back in November 2010, Sarah and her boyfriend, Blake, went missing when she was two months pregnant! After a few weeks on the lamb, they returned home to have their baby, and we can't wait to find out what they got up to on their adventures!
5. Blake Left Her and They Are No Longer Together
Poor Sarah had barely finished popping out a baby when Blake left her to "make money" in Beaufort, South Carolina –– where he got a job on a shrimp boat. Let's just say Sarah was less than thrilled about Blake's decision to ditch his daughter. "Baby, you're better as a memory than as my man" Sarah tweeted. "But that doesn't tell me why it hurts so bad."
6. She's Super Close With Her Mom!
Unlike some 16 and Pregnant gals, Sarah and her mom have a great relationship. "So thankful to have such a awesome, supportive mom!" Sarah tweeted on mother's day. "And I can not believe it is my first mother's day! (: #HappyMothersDay." Phew, at least she has something positive in her life!
7. She's a High School Graduate (Almost)
Many of our favorite teen mamacitas were unable to balance the responsibilities of parenting and school, and dropped out to take care of their babies. But not Sarah! "I just turned 18 and graduate in a month!" she tweeted to a curious fan.
8. She's a Twitter-holic!
In case you can't already tell, Sarah loves documenting her life on the interwebs! You can follow her on twitter for the latest up-to-date news about Tinleigh, Blake, and her upcoming high school graduation.
